How much should I feed?
Pop in your dog's weight and we'll work out the daily amount and cost.
Based on the brand's official feeding chart. Every pet is different, so adjust for age, activity and body condition, and always keep fresh water out. Not sure? Give us a call on 021 059 1729.
Mixing with a Black Hawk Grain Free 400g can: per Black Hawk's mixed feeding guide, each can replaces 100g of kibble, so the dry amount drops by 100g. Cost includes one can at its current price.
Mixing with Wild Islands: worked out from this food's feeding chart and the Wild Islands 185g can chart. Each can replaces its share of the day's food, and the dry amount drops to match.

Feeding guide
Daily feeding guide as a complete meal (based on an 8oz / 240ml cup). This is a guide only. Your dog's needs vary with activity, metabolism, health and environment, so feed less if your dog is overweight and more if underweight.
| Tiny dog (2.3kg) | ½ cup (40g) per day |
|---|---|
| Small dog (9kg) | 1¼ cups (115g) per day |
| Medium dog (22kg) | 2½ cups (220g) per day |
| Large dog (45kg) | 4½ cups (380g) per day |
As a meal mixer: mix ¼ Kiwi Kitchens with ¾ of your dog's current food, and reduce the current food to avoid overfeeding.
Rehydrating is recommended: mix 1 part food with 1 part warm water. If feeding dry, make sure your dog drinks plenty of water at mealtime.
Switching foods
Always change to a new food slowly, mixing it with your current food over a 7 day period.
Important feeding information
Make sure fresh water in a clean bowl is available at all times.
Storage: once opened, keep the bag sealed. If conditions are humid, store it in the fridge. Use within six weeks of opening.
